OUR STORY
Our Studio
All our designs are created in-house. Our studio, located in Dublin, is where concepts are born and ideas explored. As architects and craftspeople, we understand how kitchens need to be designed and made.
Our Mission
We are driven by materials, design and craft, and how they combine to make beautiful kitchens.
Our kitchens are bespoke, made to order in Ireland, and finished by hand. We are an Irish company, committed to selling products designed and made in Ireland.
Responsible Design
Modoco is committed to helping you make sustainable choices when selecting a kitchen. We use FSC certified plywoods and partner with suppliers that reflect our principles of sustainability.
We also believe in using high quality and durable materials thus breaking the cycle of cheap and disposable furniture in homes.
Our Team
Modoco was established by Feargal, Michael and James, who met through studying and working as Architects.
We are innovators and craftspeople. Using our skills in architecture and woodworking, we set about designing bespoke kitchens with quality materials.
Feargal Foley
A native of County Mayo, and a gifted designer, Feargal spends his time working on new designs. His focus is on keeping our kitchens modern and our style unique.
Michael Mc Laughlin
A proud Donegal man, Michael oversees and is hands-on in production at our Creative Workshop. He combines his love for traditional woodworking crafts with modern fabrication technologies to create our hand-finished products.
James Crowley
Hailing from Cork City, James grew up fitting kitchens with his father - beginning his passion for fitted furniture. James focuses on our materials and finishes, by testing new combinations and designs with Feargal.
Our Workshop
At our Creative Workshop in Limerick City we combine traditional woodworking techniques with Digital Fabrication processes. Here we customise, innovate and experiment with materials to give our kitchens their distinctive aesthetic.
Quality Products
With first hand access to all of the fabrication equipment, it allows us to continue to customise and experiment, keeping our ideas fresh and our products innovative.
We produce everything in our own workshop, meaning that we have full control over the quality and finish of every item delivered.
Traditional Craft
Our love for kitchens started with out with our love for wood and for woodworking.
We use the latest technology and digital fabrication in the manufacturing process, and finish everything by hand. This combination of working methods means that you get machined precision and a personal touch hand finished appearance.
