Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions of Sale apply between you as a customer (“You”) and MODOCO (“Company”, “We”, “Us”) , e-mail: info@modoco.ie, when you order products from www.modoco.ie ("The Website”).
General
To complete a purchase on the Website, you must confirm that you are over 18 years old. MODOCO reserves the right, in individual cases, to decline or amend your order (e.g. if MODOCO suspects fraud, you have provided false personal information, and/or have an outstanding debt). The Website and all its content are owned by MODOCO or its licensors. The content is protected by intellectual property and marketing laws. This means that trademarks, trade names, product names, images, graphics, design, layout, and information about products, services, and other content may not be copied or used without written consent from MODOCO.
Order
To finalise an order the customer must send a written acceptance of MODOCOs final quote which is sent by e-mail. The order process is considered complete when the order is paid in full. As soon as the payment has been received the order is put into production and therefore no changes can be made to the order.
Refunds
All goods purchased from Modoco are made to order. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund.
We are unable to refund or replace items ordered in error, it is the responsibility of you the customer to ensure you have ordered the correct items before completing any purchase. For this reason, we would encourage you to carefully check your MODOCO fabrication drawing before completing your order so that can check that you have all the items you need, the correct handles, finishes, hinge locations etc.
Delivery
Orders are delivered to curb-side unless otherwise stated.
Once the order is received, please check all the parcels are delivered intact and without damage. If your parcel packaging was damaged during transit please check the items and email us within 48 hours of the delivery with any issues (you must include photos). In the unlikely event that any of the items you receive are faulty or damaged, we will, of course, repair or replace these items as necessary.
Please check all items before installing. If you do encounter a problem, please do not fit the product before contacting us. Once fitted we are unable to take responsibility for damaged products.
Storage
All MODOCO products must be stored in indoors in a heated space, they must be stored flat on a level surface.
Do not stand or lean products against a wall as they may bend.
Do not store other products on top of MODOCO products.
Products
All MODOCO products are made-to-order. In addition, some designs that are manufactured in natural and special materials may vary in expression from item to item. We cannot guarantee that the finish of your product is fully identical to a sample product. For example, our veneered fronts may vary in grain and shade. In general, all designs manufactured from natural materials may vary and show differences.
Appliances
MODOCO cannot guarantee that appliances purchased from third-party providers can be integrated into your kitchen. Please consult IKEA's kitchen department or your household appliances retailer.
Disputes
In the case of any warranty case or disagreement, the parties must seek to resolve the disagreement amicably. If a dispute cannot be resolved in this manner, it will be heard before the court and resolved under Irish law.
Guarantee
We offer a 3-year guarantee on all our fronts. However, we cannot offer a guarantee on fronts for built-in dishwashers. This is due to the risk of hot steam from the dishwasher being so strong that it may damage the front.
For countertops, we offer a 2-year guarantee for defects and functioning purposes that apply for 24 months from the time of delivery and include manufacturing of the product.
Products that have been exposed to force, misuse, overload, inadequate maintenance, incorrect storage, or wrong installation are exempted from these guarantees. We do not assume liability for installation faults caused by a third-party kitchen fitter. We cannot assume liability for any planning errors caused by the customer or any third party.
The right to complain is waived when fronts that are damaged by moisture or steam.
The warranty does not cover operating loss, loss of time, or any other indirect losses.
